Transferring the chats on my old phone to my new phone

Depending on which device you are using, there may be an option for you to transfer your chats.

Here is a step-by-step guide on transferring your WhatsApp chats from your old phone to your new phone:

1. On your old phone, open WhatsApp and go to Settings.
2. Click on "Chats" and then "Chat Backup."
3. Tap "Backup Now" to create a backup of your chats.
4. Turn on your new phone and install WhatsApp.
5. Open WhatsApp and sign in using the same phone number as your old phone.
6. WhatsApp will detect the backup file automatically. Click "Restore" to transfer your chats to your new phone.
7. Wait for the restoration process to complete, and then you're all set!

Nokia S40 and BlackBerry devices cannot transfer chat history at this time.
