I'm going to change my number and/or phone, what should I do?

To transfer your WhatsApp account and chats to a new phone number or device:

1. Open WhatsApp on your old device and go to "Settings".
2. Click on "Account" and then "Change Number".
3. Enter your old phone number and the new phone number you want to use.
4. Follow the prompts to verify your new phone number.
5. On your new device, install WhatsApp and verify your new phone number.
6. During the verification process, you will be prompted to restore your chat history from the old device.
7. Select "Restore" and wait for the process to complete.
8. Once the restore process is finished, you will have successfully transferred your WhatsApp account and chats to your new number and/or device.
