If WhatsApp Messenger is crashing or freezing, we may ask you to send us your crashlog files to help us identify the cause.
To send us a crash report, you will need to sync your iPhone with iTunes on your computer. iTunes will automatically copy your latest crash reports to your computer. They can be found in the following locations:
~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice
(case sensitive).C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice
C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter
The crash report files should start with WhatsApp_
and the date they were created, and end in .crash
. Please attach the 5 most recent crash reports in reply to your support email. Please note that if you do not see any crash report files that start with WhatsApp, the issue is likely being caused by the iOS.
