How do I delete messages or chats for Nokia s60?

You can delete an entire chat, clear all messages inside a chat, or remove individual messages.

To delete an entire chat

If you have a physical keyboard on your Nokia S60 phone, please follow these steps:

1. Open WhatsApp and go to the Chats screen.
2. Select the chat you want to delete, but do not open it.
3. Press Options > Delete chat.

If you have a touch screen Nokia S60 phone, please follow these steps:

1. Open WhatsApp and go to the Chats screen.
2. Long press on the chat you want to delete.
3. Select Delete chat from the pop-up menu.

These instructions are for individual chats. To delete an entire group chat, simply exit the group. See instructions here.

To clear all messages inside a chat

1. Go into the chat or group.
2. Go to Options > Chat History > Clear.

To delete individual messages

1. Select the message you wish to remove using the keypad or tapping on the message and go to Options > Message > Delete.
2. Alternatively on S60 keyboard phones, you can select the message and hit the backspace button on your keyboard.
