How do I delete a contact for Windows Phone?

The favorites list automatically displays all contacts from your phone's address book who have WhatsApp.

To remove a contact from favorites list

1. Swipe to the favorites screen.
2. Tap and hold the name of the contact you wish to remove.
3. Select delete from the menu.

To add a contact back to favorites list

1. Swipe to the all screen (this screen lists all WhatsApp and non-WhatsApp contacts from your address book).
2. Tap the name of the contact you wish to re-add. You can only add contacts who have WhatsApp.
3. Tap More > add to favorites.

If you do not want someone to be able to message you on WhatsApp, you can block that contact.

To delete a contact from the WhatsApp all screen permanently, you will need to delete the contact from your phone's address book.
