How do I block or unblock a contact for BlackBerry10?

You can stop receiving WhatsApp messages and calls from certain contacts by blocking them. Not sure what happens when you block someone? Learn more here.

To block a contact

1. Open WhatsApp.
2. Open the Application Menu (Swipe down from the top of the screen).
3. Tap Settings > Privacy Settings > Blocked Contacts. This page displays all contacts that you have blocked.
4. Tap Add Contact icon at the bottom of the screen to select a contact to block.

To block an unknown contact, simply open the chat conversation, scroll to the top, then tap Block.

To unblock a contact

1. Open WhatsApp.
2. Open the Application Menu (Swipe down from the top of the screen).
3. Tap Settings > Privacy Settings > Blocked Contacts.
4. Long-press the contact that you wish to unblock and select the Delete icon from the right pane.
