If you see a message that says "Update Your Phone", then you are using an older version of the BlackBerry Operating System (OS). We recommend updating your phone to a newer version of BlackBerry OS that will give you access to these WhatsApp features:
To update your BlackBerry, download the BlackBerry desktop software, connect your phone to your computer, click device on the top left corner and click update. For instructions on how to update your phone using a computer, please visit this link.
Note: you will need to use a computer to upgrade your BlackBerry OS, as software updates through an Internet connection are not supported by your BlackBerry.
If you are having difficulty updating using your computer, or you do not have a computer, please visit your service provider to see if they can help you perform the update.
